Ethel Mae Whittamore, age 91, of Richmond, died Tuesday morning (December 11, 2012) at Reid Hospital. She was born in Tennessee on March 2, 1921 to Omer and Maggie Evans Borden and had lived here most of her life. She was a graduate of Morton High School, a homemaker, and attended the First Missionary Baptist Church. Her husband, Cecil Whittamore, died January 22, 1983. Survivors include her sisters, Mary Dailey of Lynn, Indiana, Georgia Johnson of Lynn, Indiana; brothers, Bobby Borden of Richmond, Bill Borden of Indianapolis; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, a brother, Earl Borden, is also deceased. Services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Saturday (December 15, 2012) in Riggle �" Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Kenneth Riden will officiate. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Centerville.
