Eugene Raymond Weiss, age 82, of Hagerstown, died Thursday (April 14, 2005) at Saint Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Wayne County on January 25, 1923 to Raymond and Jeanette Merkamp Weiss and had lived in this area all of his life with more than 20 years in the Hagerstown area. He was a farmer and he retired in 1989 as an employee of Bruns Brothers Excavating.

In addition to his parents, two daughters, Mary Joanna Weiss and Ann Cox and three brothers, Ralph, Herb & Vernon Weiss are also deceased
The family will received friends on Saturday (April 16, 2005) from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary where services will be conduced by Rev. Bob Fannin.
