Evalene Welch, age 86, of Richmond, died Sunday morning (November 26, 2017) at Rosebud Village. She was born on July 18, 1931 in Pruden, Tennessee to Clayton and Ruthie Henderson. She was a homemaker and had lived in this area most of her life.
Survivors include her daughter, April Welch; sisters Jan (Stanley – deceased) Williamson, Ada (William) Roots; brother Onvia Henderson; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Neal Welch; sisters Izella (Johnny) Hatfield, Jeanette (Eddie) Love; brothers Hillard (Ona Lee) Henderson, Dillard (Juanita) Henderson, Ronald Henderson; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private services will be conducted on Wednesday (November 29, 2017) in Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will be in Jellico, Tennessee.
