Evelyn M. Corman, age 91 of Richmond, passed away on Monday May 20, 2024 at Brickyard Healthcare. She was born in Richmond on June 8, 1932 to Carl and Hattie (Blackburn) Hagerman and had lived here all her life. Evelyn was married to Kenneth Corman on June 20, 1948 and were married for 56 years before his passing in 2004. She worked for many years at Phillips Drugs as a cashier. The family would like to send a special "Thank You" to Aseracare Hospice for their outstanding care and compassion during Evelyn's final days.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Larry (Nancy) Corman of Richmond, IN, Bob (Cathy) Corman of Norwood, OH and Valerie Austerman of Richmond, IN; grandchildren Darren Corman of Richmond, IN, Kenneth (Rachel) Austerman of Milton, IN, Carissa (John) Parker of Richmond, IN, Misty (Ralph) Melton, Windy Corman and Bobbie (Andy) McGinnis all of Norwood, OH; great-grandchildren Dustin (Heather) Austerman of Spanaway, WA, Mikayla (Mark) Toschlog of Richmond, IN, Megan, Catelyn and Autumn Melton all of Norwood, OH, Andrew Corman, Nathan Corman both of Richmond, IN, Abigail Corman of Crown Point, IN; Logan, Sydney and Lilly McGinnis all of Norwood, OH; great great grandchildren Parker, Brooks and Rory June of Spanaway, WA, Gabriella Ballin and Caroline Toschlog of Richmond, IN and Hazel of Norwood, OH. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Corman; son-in-law David Austerman; 1 brother and 4 sisters.

Pastor Ed McFarland will officiate services at 2pm on Thursday May 23, 2024 at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will immediately follow in Lutherania Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday May 23, 2024 from 1pm-2pm at the funeral home.
