Frances N. Geier, age 95, passed away on Friday (October 24, 2014) at Arbor Trace. She was born on August 10, 1919 in York, Pennsylvania to Charles and Mazie Smith and had lived here most of her life. She had worked at Wayne Works, and then Kutter's Grocery. Frances enjoy sewing, going on walks, and spending time with her family. Survivors include daughters Ann (Robert) White, Alice (Marc) McGarvey of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Cathy (Shane) Stockdale; Grandchildren Sarah (Dave) Murray, Lisa (George) Borsch of Oldsmar, Florida, and Greg (Kristy) Geier of Venice, Florida; Great grandchildren Morganne, Allison, Austin, and Olivia. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband Robert Geier, son John Geier, and sister Helen Kettler. Services for Frances will be held on Wednesday (October 29, 2014) at 12 p.m. in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Deacon Jim Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Andrews Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
