Frank A. Henley, age 82, of Richmond, died Saturday morning (October 16, 2010) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Richmond on December 13, 1927 to Arlie Major and Mildred M. Shaffer Henley and had lived here all of his life. He was a graduate of Richmond High School and a US Army veteran. Frank was a retired employee of Conrail. He was a member of First Baptist Church, the NRA and the State Rifle and Pistol Association. His first wife, Marilou Henley, died July 29, 1984. Survivors include his wife - Vivian Henley; son - James Major Henley of Indianapolis; daughter - Anita Kay Henley of Fort Wayne; grandson - Jeremiah Allen Henley; great grandchildren - Hunter Henley and Mya Henley; sister - Shirley Thomas; step-son - Bob Loudy; step-daughter - Ruth Loudy; step-grandsons - Tim Loudy and Mark Loudy; step-great grandchildren - Ava Loudy, Sara Loudy, Megan Loudy, Kerry Moore, Nicholas Moore, Mackenzie Sides, Evan Sides In addition to his parents, two brothers, Gale Henley and Bob Henley, are also deceased. Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday (October 19, 2010) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday (October 19, 2010) from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
