Gale E. Pierson, age 57, of Richmond, died peacefully on Saturday (June 12, 2010) at his residence surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Richmond on November 8, 1952 to Robert and Delores Pierson and had lived here all of his life. He was a graduate of Centerville High School and worked as a journeyman millwright. Survivors include his children �" Jeremy Pierson (Lisa), Dustin Pierson (Kasey) and Kari (Steven) Pierson Estes all of Richmond; brother �" Bob Pierson of Tennessee; sister �" Cathy Kennedy of Tennessee; grandchild �" Casey Pierson. Gale also leaves his special companion "Doolie". The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the Reid Hospice caregivers for their kindness and service. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday (June 17, 2010) in Riggle �" Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor John Maples will officiate. Burial will be in Elkhorn Cemetery.
