Gary Fisher, age 69, passed away Friday July 16th, 2021 surrounded by family after a hard-fought battle. He was born on February 26,1952, the son of John Wilson & June Jeanette Fisher of Richmond, In. He was a lifelong resident of Richmond and was in the RHS graduating class of 1971. He was a Masterbrand Cabinet employee for 36 years until they closed. He went to college at the age of 60 and received his technical degree. Then worked at Primex until he retired at the age of 65.
Survivors include his wife Cheryl whom he married in September 2002. Children include Beth (Don) Beatty, Brian (Lindi) Fisher, Brad (Heather) Fisher, Amber (Craig) Parker, Max (Brianna) Coleman. Sisters Rebecca J Murray, Roberta A Fisher, & Sandra K Rigsby. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren: Gabe, Alex, Julia, Brianna, Kessler, Mason, Caylor, Bryelle, Haylee, Lizzie, Eddie, Jaxson, Carson, Haydon, Payton & Lily. Also survived by multiple nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Stephen Kent Fisher and a special aunt Anna Mary Railsback.
Gary loved western movies and attending his grandchildren's sporting events. He could be found on Sunday afternoons watching his favorite Nascar drivers and in his younger years he was always up for a basketball game at the Williamsburg gym with his buddies.

Funeral Services will be held at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 with friends and family calling from 11 to 1 with service to follow. Burial will take place after the service at Crown Hill Cemetery in Centerville.
