Gary D. Gifford, 68, of Richmond died June 26, 2025. He was born July 20, 1956 in Richmond, IN. He served in the military for 22 years where he retired as a Gunnery Sergeant and was a hero in the eyes of his children.
Survivors include his children Cassie A. Gifford (Dottie), Lynn M. Gifford, and Gary D. Gifford II (Jessica), his grandchildren, two brothers Ron Gifford, and Jimbo Gifford, nieces and nephews, his girlfriend Jessica and her children.
He is preceded in death by his mother Darlene Campbell (Gifford) (Anderson), his father James K. Gifford, and step father George Anderson, nephew David Gifford and his aunts, uncles, and son-in-law Coty Thomas.
We love you dad and will keep your memory alive. You can rest now and be with Grandma.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary in care of the Gary Gifford Funeral Fund to help the family with funeral expenses.
Services for Gary will be held at 2:00pm on Monday July 7, 2025, at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 12:00pm-2:00pm on Monday July 7, 2025 at the funeral home.
