Gary Harrison, age 48, of Richmond, died Thursday afternoon (January 5, 2012) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Richmond on April 6, 1963 to William Jerneal and Helen Boswell Harrison and had lived here all of his life. Gary enjoyed fishing, playing chess and playing darts. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Survivors include his children - Linda Michelle Harrison of Richmond, IN, Ashley Lynn Harrison (Steve) Allen of Wabash, Indiana, Austin Harrison of Richmond; his mother - Helen Harrison; sisters - Annie Harrison (Mark) Ellis of Richmond, IN, Tammy Harrison Bruner of Eaton, Ohio, Virginia Harrison Younger of Savanah, Georgia, Marsha Kay Neal of Richmond, KY; brothers - Jerneal, Hansel and James Harrison all of Richmond, KY.; grandchildren - Hannah and Sidney Byrd, Austin Palmer; sister-in-law - Kim Harrison of Richmond, IN; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Monday (January 9, 2012) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Bishop Jeff Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday (January 9, 2012) from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
