Geneva Lykins, age 102, passed away on January 7, 2021 at Reid Hospital. Geneva was born to D.W. and Elizabeth Shipley on June 14, 1918 in Johnson City, Tennessee. She has lived in the Richmond community since 1947 where she has worked as a waitress at Holy Hill, a deli worker cutting meat and making subs at K-mart and a greeter at Wal-Mart.
Geneva is survived by her wonderful children, Billie Beaver, Hubert Hall, Deanne Veregge, Richard Lykins, Mary McDaniel and Kay Addison. She is also survived by several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren including Brittany Moore and Eric Moore; several cousins and many friends. She is proceeded in death by her parents D.W. and Elizabeth and her brother Lynn Townsend.
