George P.W. Anderson, age 91, who resided at Friends Fellowship Community, died Thursday morning (February 5, 2004) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Binghamton, New York on September 26, 1912 and had lived in Richmond since 1946. He had owned and operated Anderson Bakery with his wife and had worked in real estate sales. He was a member of Webb Lodge #24 F & AM and of the Tarum Shrine Club and had been an active member of the Masonic Glee Club. He was a member of First English Lutheran Church where he was a member of the choir for almost 60 years. His wife, Helen Anderson, died in 1988.
Survivors include - Son - Tom Anderson of North Bend, Ohio
Daughter - Bonnie Wolf of Indianapolis

Services will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday (February 9, 2004) in First English Lutheran Church. (2727 National Road East). Pastor John Walker will officiate. Burial will be in Lutherania Cemetery.
