October 5, 2012 George Melvin Bennett, age 84, of Richmond, died Thursday afternoon (October 4, 2012) at Arbor Trace. He was born on September 1, 1928 to Charles W. and Mary Ellen Bennett. He had worked for General Motors in Detroit, Michigan and locally for Primex Plastics. Survivors include his children - George Bennett, Charles Bennett, Douglas Brown, Donald Brown, Lorraine Anderson, Loretta Corpe, Michael Neal (Peggy) Bennett; step-children - Edward Walker and William Walker; brother - John Bennett; sisters ��" Viola Farr, Agnes Brady; several grandchildren and great grandchildren including his great granddaughter Dakota; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, his first wife - Betty Darocher Bennett, second wife - Barbara Ruth Long Bennett, third wife - Stella LaRee Walker, sister - Geneva LaDuke are also deceased.
