George S. McMillan, age 69, of Richmond, died Saturday morning (July 15, 2006) in Hagerstown as a result of injuries sustained in a car-motorcycle accident.� He was born in Fountain City, Tennessee on December 18, 1936 to Daniel Eli and Helen Jones McMillan and grew up in Economy.� George moved to Richmond in 1961 and was employed by Dana Corporation for 30 years.� He was a US Marine Corp veteran and a founding member of the� Whitewater Valley Detachment of the Marine Corp League where he was an active participant in the Toys for Tots program and in the Elijah Blackie Pennington Motorcycle Club.� He was also a member of the Druids Lodge.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years - Dorothy Barker McMillan; Sons - Tony (Jolene) McMillan of Economy, Rob(Linda) McMillan of Richmond; Daughter - Cindy Kersey of Carmel, Indiana; Brother - Joe (Beaulah May) McMillan of Economy;6 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandson; Nieces & Nephews

Visitation will be held on Tuesday (July 18, 2006) from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Riggle = Waltermann Mortuary.� Burial will be at 10:30 am on Thursday (July 20, 2006) in �Earlham Cemetery in the Veterans Field of Honor.� Doug Gwyn will officiate and military graveside services will be conducted by the Wayne County Veterans Council.� Memorial contribution may be made to Toys for Tots in care of the Marine Corp League, 200 South 9th Street, Richmond, Indiana 47374.
