Gilbert P. Wessel, age 83, of Richmond, died Saturday morning (September 6, 2003) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Richmond on April 1, 1920 to Charles A. and Margaret Seery Wessel and had lived here all of his life. He was a member of Saint Andrew Church.
Survivors include - Brothers - Charles Wessel of Richmond
Fred Wessel of Connersville
Nieces & Nephews
Three brothers, Mark, Paul and Harold Wessel and a sister, Virginia Young, are also deceased.
Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday (September 8, 2003) in Saint Andrew Church. Father Joseph Feltz will officiate. Burial will be in Saint Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday (September 8, 2003) from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Seton Catholic High School, % 240 South 6th Street, Richmond, Indiana 47374. Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. www.riggle-waltermann.com
