Gladys Martin, 55, of Richmond, Indiana passed away Sunday (December 16, 2018) at her home. She was born on July 7, 1963 to Darrell and Margie Miller Rentfrow in Richmond, Indiana. She was the owner and operator of Martin Roofing. Gladys worked at Amcast where she was the superintendent for many years. Growing up Gladys' dad would take her swimming at the YMCA. She was an awesome ball player, she was the first girl to play little league in Richmond. Gladys enjoyed swimming, reading and camping with family especially with the grandkids. She was the best wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandma and friend ever.

Survivors include spouse Debra Martin; children Darrell Martin, Jon (Marissa) Martin, Ronnie Martin, Diana (Anthony) Martin, Bishop Hays and Michelle Hays; Sisters Pam (Tim) Long and Debbie (Jack) Evans; grandchildren Emma, Colten, Destiny, Haven, Makaleigh, Taylor and Savannah; nieces and nephews Debbie, Tee, Tina, Mark , Jackie and Tiff; great nieces and nephews Daniel, Jaxin, Avery and Grant. She is preceded in death by her father Darrell Rentfrow.
Services will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday December 21, 2018 at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor John Maples will officiate. Friends and family may call from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Friday December 21, 2018 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Riggle-Waltermann in care of the Gladys Martin funeral fund.
