Glenn B. Combs, age 76, of Richmond, died Thursday morning (December 11, 2008) at his residence. He was born in London, Kentucky on May 2, 1932 to James and Susan Hodge Combs and had lived here most of his life. Glenn attended Hillcrest Baptist Church. He was a retired 41 year employee of Richmond Power and Light. Survivors include his wife - Barbara Combs; daughters - Sandy (Don) Dunaway of New Paris and Bonnie (Randall Davidson) Murphy of Greenville, Ohio; grandchildren - Steve (Casey) Toschlog, Kyle (Sarah Wynn) Murphy, Megan (Josh) Ripberger, Becki Dunaway; great grandchildren - Hannah Toschlog, Adam Toschlog, Caden Ripberger, Conner Murphy; brother - Vernon (Betty) Combs of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; sisters - Mona Jean Blanton of London, Kentucky, Danetta Albright of Cicero, Illinois, Virginia Combs of Berkley, California; sister-in-law - Kay Lake of Richmond; nieces and nephews. Five brothers and sisters are also deceased. Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday (December 13, 2008) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Martin Holman and Rev. Frank Holman will officiate. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday (December 13, 2008) from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
