Glenn A. Hoffman, age 89, died Thursday morning (May 18, 2006) at his residence.� He was born on August 29, 1916 in Winona, Minnesota to Rhineheart H. and Hattie M. Lehkre Hoffman and had moved to the Richmond area in the early 1940's.� He moved back to this area from Arkansas in 2002.� He was a Marine Corp veteran of World War II and a retired industrial electrician.� He was a supporter of the Audubon Society and had volunteered with Meals on Wheels and with Habitat for Humanity.

Glenn's wife, Georgia Hoffman, died in 1997.� A son, David Hoffman, and a sister are also deceased.

Services will be private.� An open-house will be held on Saturday (May 20, 2006) from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the home of his daughter, Jeanette Longanecker, 9199 Old National Road (North), New Paris, Ohio.� Memorial contributions may be made to the National Audubon Society, Dept. W., 700 Broadway, New York, NY� 10003.� Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.�
