It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Goldie Martin, aged 69, who departed this life on May 9, 2026, in her hometown of Richmond, Indiana. Born on December 15, 1956, Goldie was a dedicated mother, sister, and friend.

Goldie was the cherished daughter of Thomas and Alice Henemyre and was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Tommy, Garry Fredrick, Joe, Ed, and David Henemyre. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Angie (Greg) Blair and Lisa (Andy) Baker, along with five adoring grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren who were the light of her life. She also leaves behind her siblings Patty Knoob, Kenny (Tracy) Matney, Woody (Penny) Matney, and Heidi (Gary) Vadakin, all of whom will miss her dearly.

Goldie spent many years as a machine operator at Landis Plastics, where she was known for her dedication and hard work. She also worked at Holiday Inn. Goldie's passions included reading, swimming, and enjoying sunny days by the pool. She had a special love for family gatherings and created lasting memories on her adventures with her grandson, Mason. A friend to all, Goldie had a reputation for her openness and her love for sharing stories (sometimes oversharing), and making everyone feel like they were a part of her family.

Goldie attended LifeSpring Church until health issues prevented her from participating in person. Her love for the Lord was evident in her daily life and interactions.

A graveside service will be held to honor Goldie on June 5, 2026, at 12:00 PM in Abington Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to join together at a Celebration of life service immediately following the graveside to celebrate Goldie's life and the indelible mark she made on all who knew her.
