Gwenda Lou Uhte, 86 of Converse, TX went to be with the Lord on Monday May 23, 2022 in Richmond, IN. She was born in Perry County, IN to Elmer Nicholson and Amy Grace Langdon Nicholson. Gwenda loved to travel, she traveled everywhere with her husband Bob while he was in the service until settling down in Converse, TX after his retirement. She loved her dog Annie. A special "Thank You" to all friends and neighbors that looked in on "Aunt Lou" after losing Bob.

Left to cherish her memory are her nephews Dennis (Fern) Nicholson, Larry (Lorraine) Smith; son-in-law Will Menke and special friend Elaine Harris. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Uhte; siblings Elmo Nicholson, Mildred Smith, Faye Moff and Myrtle Park; nephew Billy Smith and niece Brenda Smith.

Services for Gwenda will be held in Universal City, TX at Colonial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gwenda's name to any pet charity of your choice.
