Harold Russell Johnson, age 92, of Richmond, died Friday evening (October 9, 2009) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Center Township on April 18, 1917 to Tom and Elizabeth Rubley Johnson and had lived here all of his life. He was a retired employee of the former Wayne Works. His wife, Shirley M. Johnson, died on July 20, 1999. Survivors include his son - Bill (Marianne) Johnson of Mission Viejo, California; Daughter - Sue (Tom) Phillips of Indianapolis; his companion - Lorna Andrea Bradfield of Richmond; 3 Grandchildren; 3Great Grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday (October 13, 2009) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Mark Irwin will officiate. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Centerville. Friends may call on Tuesday (October 13, 2009) from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
