Harold Lawson, 75 of Richmond passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026.

Harold lived a life marked by resilience, enjoyment of simple joys and a gentle spirit that touched everyone who knew him. Harold loved everyone and everyone who knew Harold loved him. He leaves behind friends Pam and Greg Hilligoss. Loving caregivers Jackie Himes, Dana (aka Wanda) Noble, Earl and Kathy Conner, and Erin Shadle. He had many other caregivers at CRF and Richmond State Hospital who cared for him and touched his life as he touched theirs.

Harold loved music, taking long car rides, ice cream, and TOYS! He made friends easily and knew many people in the Richmond and Connersville communities.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Harold will be buried at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Frankton, IN.

Public visitation will be held Monday, August 17, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary, 32 South 11th St., Richmond, Indiana 47374.
