Hazel R. Johnson, age 96, passed away Friday (June 13, 2014) in Covington, Georgia. She was born March 18, 1918 in Jackson County, Kentucky to William Franklin and Bessie Acers Robinson. Hazel enjoyed her family, cooking, growing her flowers and loving her pets (and everyone else's pets). Survivors include her children, Marie (Jim) Isaac of Centerville, IN, Robert (Anna) Johnson of Lawrenceville, Ga, Bonnie Wright of Edwardsville, Kansas, Carolyn (Terry King) Sullivan of Covington, GA, David (Kathy) Johnson of Richmond, IN, Charlotte Bell of Covington, GA; Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lester Johnson, daughter Donna Johnson, Brothers and Sisters, 2 Grandsons and 1 Granddaughter. Services for Hazel will be held on Wednesday (June 18, 2014) at 1:00 P.M. in Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Rev. James Girdley will officiate. Friends may call on Wednesday (June 18, 2014) from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
