Helen Melissa Chalfant's Obituary
Helen Melissa Chalfant, age 93, passed away on Sunday December 17, 2023 at Glen Oaks Health Campus in New Castle. She was born in Eaton, Ohio on May 20, 1930 to Robert and Miranda (Wright) Faris. Melissa was a beautiful person and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Terri (Jones) Calvert of Lakeview, Ohio, Rob Jones of Richmond, Indiana and Ronda (Jones) Turkus of Richmond, Indiana; grandchildren Jennifer Beebe and Brent Beebe of Waynesfield, Ohio; 3 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers John Faris, Sam Faris, Roger Faris and Bill Faris.
No public services will be held at this time.
