Helen R. Ellis, age 88, formerly of Richmond, died Sunday morning (November 16, 2008) at Marquette Manor in Indianapolis.� She was born in College Corner, Ohio on August 2, 1920 to Grover and Orpha Jackson Andrews and had lived in the Richmond area most of her life before moving to Indianapolis in 2005.� She was a former active member of the Garden Club and the Mother's Club and was a member of Saint Mary Church.� Helen was a� retired employee of Kitchin and Sons Inc.� Her husband, William E. Ellis, died on November 8, 1974.�Survivors include her daughters - Mary Anne Runnels of Tennessee, Catherine Sellers of Iowa, Joan Barr of Windfall, Indiana and Jane Bintz of Carmel, Indiana;� 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.� �A brother, Harold Andrews is also deceased.�A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday (November 19, 2008) in Saint Mary Church.� Burial will be in Saint Mary Cemetery.� Friends may call on Wednesday (November 19, 2008) from 10:30 am to 11:00 am at the church.� Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. www.riggle-waltermann.com
