Helen L. Johnson, age 87, of Richmond, died Friday (May 14, 2004) at Golden Rule-Beverly Healthcare. She was born in Marion, Indiana on November 27, 1916 to Donald and Sarah First Rohrer and had lived here most of her life. She was a homemaker and had worked at the former Voyles News Agency. She was a member of First Christian Church. Her husband, William C. Johnson, whom she married July 2, 1935, died in 1974.

Her parents, two brothers Clyde Rohrer and Marion Francis (Bud) Rohrer, a sister Ilean Van Sickle, a grandson Tim Myers, three nephews and a nieces are also deceased.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday (May 18, 2004) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Jim Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call on Monday (May 17, 2004) from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, 100 South 10th St. Richmond, Indiana 47374.
