Helen L. McEldowney, age 82, of Richmond, died Sunday evening (May 25, 2008) at her residence.� She was born in Wayne County on November 6, 1925 to Charles and Muriel Chestnut Morrison and had lived in this area most of her life.� She was a retired employee of K-Mart and had worked in the office at Interfaith Housing.� Helen enjoyed volunteer work with the Community Food Kitchen and was a member of Chester Heights United Methodist Church.�Survivors include her husband of 46 years - Charles McEldowney;� her daughter - Deneice (Jeff) Whitaker of Greenfield;� sisters - Mary Jane (John) Stapleton of Richmond, Jeanne Allen of Richmond, Billie (Bud) Cox of Richmond;� grandchildren - Todd Snyder, Angi Snyder, Brandon (Michele) Webb, Tracy Webb; great granddaughter - Marissa Webb; sister-in-law - Helen Morrison of Crawfordsville; nieces and nephews�A daughter - Charla Snyder, three brothers, Walter Morrison, Robert Morrison and Don Morrison; and a sister and brother-in-law, Joann and Jim Brown, are also deceased.�Services will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday (May 28, 2008) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.� Rev.
