Helen M. Ripberger, age 103, of Richmond, died Thursday morning (July 26, 2007) at Reid Hospital.� She was born in Preble County, Ohio on April 7, 1904 to Homer and Harriett Brandenburg Hart and had lived in this area all of her life.� She worked as a nurse at Reid Hosptial for over 40 years.� Prior to her death she was the oldest living graduate of the former Reid Memorial Hospital School of Nursing.� She was a long time member of First Christian Church.� Her husband, Louis Ripberger, died in 1969.

Survivors include her daughter - Sherry (Charles) McGuire of Richmond; brother - Eugene Hart of Albany, New York;� grandchildren - Rev. Rick (Sarah) McGuire of Charleston, West Virginia,� Juliet (Walter) Beckwith of Durham, North Carolina;� great grandchildren - Emily (BJ) Casto, Matthew McGuire, Ann Beckwith;� nieces and nephews.

Two brothers and three sisters are also deceased.

A public memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday�(August 17, 2007) in the Community Room at Friends Fellowship Community.� Helen's grandson, Rev. Rick McGuire, will officiate.� Private burial services will follow in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio.��Memorial contributions may be made to Friends Fellowhip Community, 2030 Chester Blvd.� Richmond, Indiana 47374, � Arrangements are being handled by Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.�
