Helen J. Roark, age 62, of Richmond, died Monday morning (June 4, 2012) at Reid Hospital. She was born in Richmond on November 14, 1949 to Harold and Marion Chestnut Goodwin. She was a homemaker and had lived here all of her life. Survivors include her children - Jeremy (Leslie) Goodwin of Richmond and Misty Hines of Williamsburg, Indiana; brother - Jim Goodwin of Richmond; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, two brothers, Darryl and Carroll Goodwin, and a sister, Edith Beatty, are also deceased. Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday (June 7, 2012) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Mark Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in Williamsburg Cemetery.
