Helen L. Rodenberg, age 92, of Richmond, died Saturday (June 26, 2004) at Oakridge Rehab and Specialty Care. She was born in Wayne County on September 4, 1911 to Laurence M. and Anna Bertram Turner and had lived here all of her life. She was a graduate of Morton High School and she was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a retired employee of A & P Grocery . She was an avid sewer and found great joy in making clothes for her family and sewing for others. Her husband, Verlin "Pinky" Rodenberg, died in 1994.

A son, Richard Rodenberg, died in 2003. Two sisters, Thelma Rodenberg and Margaret Flaugher, and a brother, Ralph Turner are also deceased
Services will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday (June 30, 2004) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Herb Berry will officiate. Entombment will be in Earlham Mausoleum. Friends may call on Tuesday (June 29, 2004) from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
