Herman H. Schroeder, age 90, of Richmond, died Tuesday evening (April 27, 2004) at Pinehurst Combined Level of Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Richmond on October 21, 1913 to Frank and Flora Ahaus Schroeder and had lived in this area all of his life. He was a US Army veteran of World War II and he was a carpenter. He was a member of Saint Andrew Church, American Legion Post 315, Knights of Saint John, the YMI, the Carpenters Union and the Richmond Senior Center.

Two brothers, Frank Schroeder, Jr. and Richard Schroeder, and a sister, Cleopha "Cody" Schroeder, are also deceased.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday (April 30, 2004) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call on Thursday (April 29, 2004) from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. www.riggle-waltermann.com
