Hiram Philpot, age 76, also known as H.B. of Richmond passed away Wednesday (October 7, 2015) at his home. He was born in Clay County, Kentucky on February 17, 1939 to William Burnsicle and Zylphia Tipton Philpot. He was a veteran of the United States Army and enjoyed his yearly picnic with his AA friends. Survivors include his step daughter Gena (Chuck) Wells; sisters Carol Sue (Glen) Pendelton, Amy Catherine (Ed) Mills, Opal (Ted) Hensley, Joyce Ann Whicker; brother Charles (Patricia) Philpot; several nieces and nephews and other friends and family. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife Linda and 3 nephews and 2 nieces. Services for Hiram will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday (October 22, 2015) in Riggle �" Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor David Eales will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on (October 22, 2015) at the funeral home.
