Iola Monzell Butler, age 84, passed away on Friday (June 27th, 2014) at Forest Park Health Campus. She was born on November 11th, 1929 in ____ to Ralph and Della Rich and moved to this area in 1967. Iola enjoyed genealogy, tracing both sides of her family tree, eating at MCL, reading books, solving crossword puzzles, and was a member of Gospel Avenue Church. Survivors include her 6 children, Doug, Rebecca of California, Dan, Mary, Dean (Sandy) of Cambridge City, and Clare; a sister Irene Hull; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, her husband Charles Butler passed away in 2000. A sister Maxine Zehring is also deceased. Services for Iola will be handled by Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary.
