Iona H. "Onie" Morel Lindley, age 94, of Richmond, died Thursday (March 19, 2009) at her residence. She was born in Richmond on June 11, 1914 to William and Gatewood Bogan Baldwin and had lived here all of her life. She was a member of First Christian Church. She was also a member of the Eagles and Druids Lodges and was a life member of the Moose Lodge. Her first husband, Joseph Morel, died in 1973. Her second husband, Charles Lindley, died in 1994. Survivors include her very good friends, Connie Hamilton and Sheryl Glenn, both of Richmond. Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday (March 24, 2009) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Matt Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday (March 24, 2009) from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the funeral home. www.riggle-waltermann.com
