J. Howard Study, age 84, of Cambridge City, was called home to be with His Savior on Monday November 19, 2007, at his home.�He was born July 26, 1923 in Centerville to Orville and Nova (Roller) Study.� He married on August 26, 1950 to Delores Humig, his beloved wife of 57 years.�He was a life-long grain and livestock farmer.� He was a member of the American Angus Association as well as the Indiana Farm Bureau.� He served sixteen years as a deputized member of the Wayne County Sheriff Reserve.� He attended Centerville-Abington Schools.� Howard was baptized and a member of the Centerville Christian Church and later moved his membership to the Cambridge City Christian Church where he served several years as a deacon.�Survivors besides his wife Delores include two sons who farmed with him, James L. Study and Jack D. Study both of Cambridge City;� one daughter, Carol Ann (James) Rohe of Centerville and his grandson, David Rohe;� one brother, Jack (Ruth) Study of Cambridge City;� three sisters, Marjorie (Bill) Dillon of Centerville, Dorothy (Robert) Gray� of Hanover and Carroll (Russell) Fegan of Cambridge City;� a sister-in-law, Dorothy Study of Bath;� and over 40 nieces and nephews.�He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Robert L. Study (1976), Harold C. Study (1991), Richard E. Study (1996) and Russell A. Study (2001).�A private memorial service for family and friends will be held at 10:00 am on Friday (November 23, 2007) in Centerville Christian Church.� Rev. Gordon Mehaffey and Rev. Steve Abernathy will officiate.� Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City.�In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions ma be made to Centerville Christian Church, 111 N.
