Jack R. Wright, Sr., age 78, of Richmond, died Wednesday morning (February 7, 2007) at Cherish Health and Living Center. He was born in Brownsville, Indiana on January 13, 1928 to Jess and Virgie Wright and had lived here most of his life. He had worked for Starr Piano Company, Joseph Hill Company, DeBolt Concrete, National Auto Parts and had owned and operated Jack Wright's Garage where he was well known for his talents in repairing semi-trucks. Survivors include his wife Thelma Wright to whom he would have been married 60 years on February 28th. Son Jack (Sandy) Wright, Jr. of Richmond, Grandchildren Jacqueline (Smokey) Farmer of Richmond and Scott (Kimberly) Wright of Pennsylvania. Great Grandchldren Dustin Rodandello, Kassi Farmer and Aiden Wright. Brothers and Sisters Betty Griffin of Connersville, Jeanette Robinson of Richmond, Jean Young of California, Harold Wright of Richmond, Sue Frazer of Somerville, Ohio, Jimmy Wright of New Paris, Ohio a special aunt, Christine Kilgore of New Paris, Ohio, and brother-in-law, Maj. Donald Hickey of Florida. In addition to his parents, a sister, Elaine Shellhorn, a half-sister, Ruth Hensley and two brothers, Gary Wright and Donald Wright, are also deceased Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday (February 10, 2007) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Maj. Donald Hickey will officiate. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday (February 10, 2007) from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
