Jacqueline L. "Jackie" Swaim, age 80, of Richmond, died Friday (April 2, 2010) at Reid Hosptial. She was born in Richmond, on March 4, 1930 to Howard D. and Dorothy Evans Weddle and had lived here all of her life. She was a 1949 graduate of Richmond High School, was a member of First Christian Church and also attended Calvary Baptist Church. Jackie had worked as a legal secretary in the law office of Charles Livengood and was a retired employee of Alcoa. Survivors include her daughters - Diana (Gary) Prifogle of Richmond, Sheri (Scott) Williams of New Paris; grandchildren - Savonna Mathews, Travis VanWinkle, Kristy Martinez, Cara Williams, Cora Williams; 5 great grandchildren; her best friend - Joan Liebert of Richmond; nephews Her first husband, John Higgins, and brother, Howard E. "Bud" Weddle, are also deceased. Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday (April 7, 2010) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Amanda Hines and Rev. Lester Maples will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday (April 7, 2010) from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
