Obituary

James "Bud" Riden, passed from our world Sunday June 10, 2012. Born July 14, 1927 in Maryville, TN to Rev. James and Bethie (Borden) Riden. Bud was a retired Navy Seabee, a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He retired from Hoffco Comet as a Quality Control Supervisor. He married his wife, Freda (McCullough) Riden on July 9, 1950. Bud and Freda spent most of their lives in Cambridge City, where they raised two daughters, Candy Killion of Cambridge City and Grace ("Debby") Hodgins of Florida. Bud is survived by his wife of nearly 62 years Freda Riden. His daughters, Candy (Eddie) Killion and Grace (Rohn) Hodgins; sisters - Anne Commons of Indianapolis, Jean Commons of Kokomo, Donna Strueing of Richmond, brother - Kenny (Jean) Riden of Richmond; grandchildren - Jason Lehman (Karen), Keith Lehman (Jennifer) Kevin Lehman (Shana). Craig Lehman (Tabitha), Rick Lehman (Debbie), Garah Cassidy (David), Jonas Walden, Levi Ellis, eighteen great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, many nieces and nephews. Bud is preceded in death by his father, Rev. James C. Riden, mother Bethie Riden, brothers-in-law Robert Commons and Jack Commons. Friends and family may call on Tuesday (June 12, 2012) from 5 ��" 8 pm at Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday (June 13, 2012) at the funeral home. Burial will be in Jacksonburg Cemetery where military graveside services will be conducted by the Wayne County Honor Guard. www.riggle-walteremann .
