James "Dee" Bullock, age 80, of Richmond, died Friday morning (November 9, 2018) at his residence. He was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on August 28, 1938 to Delbert and Geneva Lunsford Bullock and had lived in this area most of his life. He was a 1957 graduate of Fountain City High School and a retired forty three- and one-half-year employee of the former Kemper Cabinet Company where he was also a member of the Kemper 25 year Club.
Survivors include the love of his life and wife of 61 years, Thresia Winters Bullock; daughter Julie Bullock; special "daughter" Rhonda Pegg-Power; grandchildren Nicholas Bullock, Kelly Meyer; great grandchildren Brianna and Jocelyn; brothers O.D. (Bev) Bullock and Albert D. (Phyllis) Bullock; sisters-in-law Penny Bullock, Lois Bullock, Shelby Bullock Ray; many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents a son, Michael D. Bullock, and siblings Margaret Stokes, Jack Bullock, Louis Bullock, Sue Minderman, William Bullock and Richard Bullock are also deceased.
Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday (November 14, 2018) in Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor Richard Blank will officiate. Burial will be in Willow Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday (November 14, 2018) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
