James N. Harris, Sr., age 54, of Richmond, died Tuesday morning (July 31, 2012) at Golden Living Center - Golden Rule. He was born in Richmond on October 18, 1957 to Danny Harris Sr. and Barbara Ann Mann Harris and had lived here all of his life. He had worked in construction and painting. Survivors include his children: sons - James Harris, Jr., Rodney Blevins; brothers and sisters - Rose Harris, Patricia Hayre, Terri Rider, Danny Harris, Jr., Betty Culbertson, Junior Harris; several grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews. In addition to his mother, a daughter, Patricia Cole, is also deceased. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday (August 3, 2012) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Paul Mingus will officiate. Friends may call on Friday (August 3, 2012) from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. www.riggle-walterman
