Obituary

James H. Wiesehahn, age 89, of Richmond, died Tuesday morning (April 29, 2008) at Forest Park Health Campus.� He was born in Richmond on October 19, 1918 to Fred and Selma Rosa Wiesehahn and had lived here all of his life.� He attended Saint John Parochial School and Richmond Community Schools.� He was a 1936 graduate of Morton High School and was a graduate of Richmond Business College.� Jim had worked for the former Second National Bank and retired in 1983 from the Adam H. Bartel Company where he was employed for 40 years.� While at Bartel's, Jim served as Credit Manager and as Secretary and member of the Board of Directors.� In his retirement, he worked part-time for Rosa's Office Plus.��� He was a life-long member of Saint John Lutheran Church where he was a former member of the choir and a former Sunday School teacher.� He also served the church in various offices and on numerous committees.� Jim was a member of the Indiana Association of Credit Management and was a former board member for Lutherania Cemetery.� His wife of 39 years, Mary Alicc Nieman Wiesehahn, died on January 30, 1980.�
Survivors include his daughter - Nancy (Charles) Benner of Richmond;� sister - Ruth (Warren) Tiemeyer of Richmond; grandchildren - Thad (Erin) Wiesehahn, Kim (Duane) Baker, Kyle Benner, Keri (Mike) Emmenegger, Kathy Benner;� great grandchildren - Matthew Baker, Meghan Emmenegger, Cate Wiesehahn, Robert Wiesehahn and his very good friend - Walt Werner.�
His son, Robert Wiesehahn, died on October 29, 2007.�
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday (May 2, 2008) in Saint John Lutheran Church (501 South 7th Street).� Pastor Laura Altman will officiate.� Burial will be in Lutherania Cemetery.� Friends may call on Thursday (May 1, 2008) from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.� Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, 501 South 7th St. Richmond, IN 47374;� to Wernle Children's Home, 2000 Wernle Road, Richmond, IN� 47374; or to a favorite charity.� www.riggle-waltermann.com
