Jane Wright, age 74, of Richmond, died peacefully at home on Wednesday (February 14, 2018) after a long illness. She was born on June 22, 1943 to Delbert and Christina Burelison Drew. Jane was a loving and compassionate wife, mother, sister and grandmother who will forever be in our hearts. She retired from the Richmond State Hospital and was a life-long member of the Druids Lodge where she loved to play Texas Holdem. She loved to have family over for all occasions. Jane was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Roger Wright; daughter Tammy Garrett and son Darrin Wright; two sisters, Mary Williams and Peggy Krick .
Survivors include her daughter Cathy (Dave) Carpenter; granddaughters Alisha (Chris) Doty, Destini Johnson (Chris Morris), Beth Wright (Corey Ferguson); grandsons Doug (Courtney) Venable, Matt Garrett, Aaron Venable; great grandchildren Noah, Aubree, Maddox, Kacie, Griffin, Oliver and Zion; sisters Dorothy (Paul) Fuller, Donna Young; brothers Tommy (Cheryl)Drew, Carl Drew and Ronnie Drew.
Friends may call on Saturday (February 17, 2018) from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Riggle – Waltermann Mortuary with service to follow at 6:00 p.m.
