Janet E. McClain, age 78, of Richmond, died Tuesday afternoon (July 28, 2009) at Reid Hospital. She was born in Richmond on June 20, 1931 to William L. and Alma Marie McKissick Wood and had lived here all of her life. She was a graduate of Richmond High School and was a retired employee of Amedco Stamping. Her husband, Richard McClain, died on January 24, 1986. Survivors include her daughter - Terri A. McClain of Richmond; sons - Stan McClain of Oklahoma and Steve (Susie) McClain of Richmond; brother - Donald Wood of Richmond; grandchildren - Ben Miller, Angie (Scott) Rodenberg; Stefanie (Ben) Schy, Stacie McClain; great great grandson - Joseph and step great great granddaughter - Kaly. Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday (August 1, 2009) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. Paul Register will officiate. Burial will be in Saint Mary Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday (August 1, 2009) from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
