Jeanette Braughton, age 85, of Richmond, died Wednesday morning (August 1, 2012) at Arbor Trace. She was born in Wayne County, Indiana on November 17, 1926 to Ralph and Florence Peden Jones and had lived here most of her life. She had worked as a housekeeper. Her husband, Ralph Braughton, died May 7, 1976. Survivors include her sons - David (Vicki) Blackwell of New Castle, Indiana, Michael Blackwell of Dallas, Texas; 8 grandchildren, 1 step-grandchild, 15 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, three sisters, Reva Koons, Leah Miller and Pauline Hollinger, and a special friend, Harley Houser, are also deceased. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday (August 3, 2012) in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris, Ohio.
