Jeffrey S. King, age 48, who resided in Hagerstown, died Monday (January 28, 2013) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Richmond on October 31, 1964 to Virgil and Wanda Byrd King and had lived in this area all of his life. He was a graduate of Richmond High School and was manager of the Iron Skillet Restaurant. He was a member of Fellowship Church. Jeff loved to attend concerts and enjoyed going to the beach. He was a loving person and will be greatly missed. Survivors include his son, Justin King of Hagerstown; parents, Virgil and Wanda King of Richmond; sister, Sharon (Terry) Thompson of Richmond; brother, Terry King of Madison, Indiana; nieces and nephews, Courtney King, Hailee King, Zak King, Stephanie Ramsey, Andy Laird, David Laird. Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday (February 1, 2013) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Rev. John Maples will officiate. Burial will be in Abington Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday (February 1, 2013) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
