Jerry W. Zimmerman, age 56, of Richmond, died Friday morning (January 4, 2013) at his residence. He was born on October 10, 1956 in Crawfordsville, Indiana to Carl and Ann Zimmerman and had lived here for the past 30 years. He was a graduate of North Montgomery High School and had worked as a sales representative for Color Box for over 25 years. Jerry loved camping and the outdoors. He enjoyed playing golf. He was an active member of First Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Jane Zimmerman, whom he married in 1984; sons, Jacob Zimmerman and David Zimmerman, both of Indianapolis, Michael Zimmerman of West Lafayette; mother, Ann Johnson of Lafayette; grandchildren, Eliot Zimmerman and Isaac Zimmerman; brothers, Jeff Zimmerman, David Zimmerman, John Zimmerman, Mike Zimmerman; sisters, Amy Zimmerman, Julie Lamphere, Sara Zimmerman; nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday (January 7, 2013) in First Christian Church (100 South 10th Street). Rev. Amanda Hines will officiate.
