Joe Allen Cook, age 50 of Richmond passed unexpectedly at home on March 19, 2023. He was the father of Morgan (Ryan) Baker of Noblesville, husband to Robin Cook of Richmond, brother to Ron Casteel of New Paris, Ohio Deb (Steve) Mays of Salley, South Carolina, Billy Cook, Chester (Carol) Cook, Randy Cook, Michael (Debbie) Cook and Angela Cook all of Richmond. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Vida and Chester Cook Sr. of Richmond; brother Leroy Cook of Richmond and nephew Lee Cook.

Joe worked at Sherriff Goslin Roofing Richmond for 28 years. He was an awesome provider to many, he loved his family and friends immensely, he especially loved giving $1 to the children in the family.

The family will be holding a "Pitch-in" style Celebration of Life held in Joe's honor on Saturday March 25, 2023 from 3-6 pm at the American Legion, Harry Ray Post 65 at 109 N 6th Street in Richmond, IN 47374.
