John F. Byrd's Obituary
John F. Byrd, Jr., age 82, of Richmond, died Saturday morning (August 11, 2012) at Reid Hospital. He was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey on November 22, 1929 to John F. and Drucella Byrd. He was a retired member of the US Army and also a retired employee of Belden. His daughter, Leslie L. Byrd, died February 9, 2005. Survivors include his wife - Helen L. (Chaney) Byrd. Graveside services will be conducted in Earlham Cemetery. No visitation.
