John A. Drook, Jr., age 41, of Richmond, died Friday morning (December 23, 2011) at his residence. He was born in Richmond on May 30, 1970 to John A. Sr. and Peggy Craig Drook and had lived here most of his life. He had attended the Jacksonville Ministry School and had worked in retail sales. John was a member of Rock Solid Ministries. Survivors include his mother - Peggy Drook of Richmond; paternal grandmother - Arbutus Drook of Richmond; aunts, uncles and cousins. His father, John A. Drook, Sr., is also deceased. Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday (December 28, 2011) in Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary. Pastor David Eales will officiate. Burial will be in Chester Cemetery.
