John W. "Jack" Jones, age 74, of Richmond, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday (October 5, 2006).� He was born in Richmond on September 26, 1932 to Floyd and Ruby McKinsey Jones and had lived here all of his life. Jack was a veteran of the US Army and of the US Air Force. He had worked for the former Kain Electric Company and then for Lowell Burwell Trucking.� He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and a retired deacon.�

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Roberta Jones;

Daughters - Diana Jones of Madison, Indiana, Jenny Paddock of Richmond and Wendy Rader of Richmond;

Brother - Floyd Jones of California;

Sister - Helen Oelez of Barberville, Kentucky;

10 Grandchildren

Services will be held at 1:30 pm on Sunday (October 8, 2006) in Hillcrest Baptist Church, 3469 Hillcrest Road, Richmond.� Pastor Marty Holman will officiate.� Friends may call on Saturday (October 7, 2006) from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Riggle - Waltermann Mortuary.
